Alanah commenced her apprenticeship with Apprenticeships R Us in 2013. As a 1st year, she adapted to the apprenticeship very quickly and showed great care and maturity with her work. Unfortunately due to some personal circumstances, she was let go as a 3rd Year. In that time, she did not give up and started working at another mechanical workshop where due to a downturn in business she chose to leave and get out of the automotive sector completely, being disheartened.
Alanah knew she still wanted to follow her passion of being in the automotive field and a short time later, she applied for a job back at her original host, and they gladly took her back.
Since then, she has grown as a tech and is now training to be a Service Advisor. She always has a smile on her face and a positive attitude towards her co-workers and her work. She will be completing her apprenticeship in 2018.
We are proud of what Alanah has achieved being an apprentice and also being a woman in a non-traditional role.
